Hair Care
Not necessarily. When your hair is colored properly by a trained stylist or colorist, your hair can give the appearance of greater health and shine than it did before you entered the salon. Coloring your hair can also give you an emotional and psychological boost that will help with your self-esteem and with how you are perceived in the workplace.
Many home coloring kits can do untold damage to your hair, especially when used incorrectly, too frequently, or when trying to change the color of your hair by more than two shades.
A skilled colorist can do a lot to rectify these mistakes, but even they have limits if you have over-dyed your hair with an at home kit. When considering a color change, always seek the advise of a trained colorist. They will help you to match color to your skin tone, making your color choice look very natural and no one the wiser that you are coloring your hair, unless of course, you are looking for a vibrant change1

Most of us would like to think we are both warm and cool. But when it comes to hair colour or your make up, it’s important to know which one you really are.
Here are the basics…
You are warm if your skin has a golden, olive or apricot cast, you tan well and don’t burn easily. You tend to have eyes that are darker (amber, dark brown, and hazel). In natural light the veins in your inner wrist will appear green. You look healthy and alive while wearing earthy colours, such as, oranges, bronzes, peaches, earthy greens, mocha browns and ivory.
You are cool if your skin has is fairer with a pink-y undertone. You tend to burn before you tan. Your eyes are generally blue, green or deep brown. In natural light the veins in your inner wrist will appear blue. You look best in jewel tones such as vibrant emerald green, royal and icy blues, rosy pinks, silvers, plums and pure white.

I love what I do so much it is unbelievably ridiculous! Here are some photos from today on a corrective colour job. She had previously coloured hair that did not take on her grey roots, and quite a lot of new growth. She wanted some nice warm red tones and highlights. I think it came out beautifully!
